Edwin J. LaLuzerne Edwin "Ed" J. LaLuzerne, 85 of Luxemburg died unexpectedly in his sleep, Saturday morning, March 22, 2014. He was born in Duvall on November 15, 1928 to the late Victor and Adele (Wery) LaLuzerne. On September 20, 1949 he married Betty J. DeGuelle at St. Mary Church, Namur. Together they farmed the LaLuzerne Family Farm in the Duvall area until 1994. His enjoyments included attending the HoDag Country Music Festival, bowling, dancing, bus trips, polka music, collecting centennial quarters, watching sports especially wresting matches, the Packers and the Brewers. Survivors include his wife of nearly 65 years, Betty and their four children, Dean LaLuzerne, Luxemburg; Denise (Tom) LaViolette, Brussels; Dale (Cindy) LaLuzerne, Green Bay; Darren (Sue) LaLuzerne, Howard, 12 grandchildren, Jeremy (Tanya) LaLuzerne, Jennifer (Randy) Rosin, Cody LaLuzerne, Dawn (Mike) Wessel, Tammy (friend, Eric) Ahlswede, Amy (fiancé, Rich) LaLuzerne, Luci (friend, Ben) LaLuzerne, Daniel LaLuzerne, Alex LaLuzerne, Alison LaLuzerne, Erin LaLuzerne, Kyle LaLuzerne, 12 great-grandchildren, Courtney Weis, Justin, Jade, Jillian LaLuzerne, Peyton, Kennedy, Kelsey, Briley and Brody Rosin, Tommy Wessel, Alexis and Jonathan Ahlswede, one brother, Erwin (Lorraine) LaLuzerne, Algoma; one brother-in-law, John Delfosse, Lincoln; many nieces, nephews and his special furry friend, Murphy! Edwin was preceded in death by, one great-grandson, Bradyn Rosin; two sisters, Emma Jandrin, Judy Delfosse; two brothers, Joe LaLuzerne, Lawrence LaLuzerne; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Hubert and Evelyn DeGuelle.
