Donna M. Jandrain, 94, Dyckesville, died unexpectedly on Wednesday morning May 28, 2025. She was born April 24, 1931, to the late Clarence E. and Mary (Glaser) Hruska. On April 29, 1950, Donna married Robert J. Jandrain at St. Mary Church, Luxemburg. He preceded her in death on December 23, 2000.
In 2013 Donna graciously received the L-C Alumni Award. She was a member of St. Mary Church, along with the Christian Mother Society, where she served as past president. She volunteered for the funeral dinners at St. Mary Church. For many years she was in partnership with her brother and sister in law, Jr. and Pearl Hruska operating the Rendezvous of Luxemburg, serving weddings, banquets, etc. of all kinds. Donna was a lifelong member of the Women's Bowling Association and bowling was a passion which she excelled in the competition. She loved to paint scenery paintings, donating many to area churches for fundraisers. Her talents flowed into playing the oboe, saxophone and piano. She loved music and played with the Green Bay Symphony and The Luxemburg Community Band. Other enjoyments included playing tennis, fishing, golfing, swimming, dancing, and an occasional drink. The water of the Bay and its magical sunsets gave her peace.
