Glen Joseph Stahl, 75, died Monday, September 4, 2023, following a brief illness. He was born February 27, 1948, in Green Bay to Michael and Mayme (Wavrunek) Stahl. Glen was a graduate of Luxemburg High School, Class of 1966. Following graduation, he took over his family’s farm. On July 16, 1971, he married Wendy Weidner at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Casco. Family was important to Glen, spending time with them at family gatherings on the farm, taking Kubota rides with his best friend “Bear”, and spending Sundays checking his crops. Glen is survived by his wife, Wendy; his children, Jamie (Ed) Tordeur, Greg (Amanda) Stahl, Erin (Kurt) Heim; his nine grandchildren, Cody (special friend Kristen), Corie (special friend Haylee), Macie (Matt), Greg, Jr., Jacob, James (Claire), Cole, Clay, and Cade; two great-grandchildren, Mack and Myler; a brother, Lary Stahl; a sister, Bernadine Mathu; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Bob (Sandy) Weidner, Jane (Jack) Weier, Chris (Tom) Karcz, Steve Weidner, and Scott (Ashley) Weidner; a dear friend, Gustavo; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Gerald, Denis, James, and Michael; and sisters-in-law, Michele Stahl, Sharon Stahl, and Betz Reynen. Main Street, Luxemburg, on Wednesday, September 13th from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. A Parish Wake Service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Friends may also call at St. Mary’s Catholic Church of Luxemburg, 1412 Main Street, on Thursday, September 14th from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at the church with the Rev.
