Lynn J. Konop, 75, of Stangelville, Wisconsin died peacefully on Friday, July 17, 2026. Lynn was born on October 17, 1950, to the late Ervin G. and Arlene A. (Gilson) Konop. He is survived by his sister Roxie (Fred) Bredael, brother Perry Konop; nieces and nephews Bridgett (Greg) Jandrain, Bill (Tammy) Bredael, Brooke (Taylor) Bredael-Schmidt, Briel (Matt) Chike; great-nieces and nephews Aleece, Myles, Calvin, and Elsie Jandrain, Bowie Bredael and Jay, and Cameron Chike.

Lynn lived a life filled with very few things, things that most people gloss over in the hustle and bustle of daily life. His simple lifestyle and love for God's creations were at the forefront of his mind every day of his life. Lynn was never concerned with materialistic possessions, outlandish purchases, or trends of the week. The only thing that mattered was that he was sustained, happy, and able to watch the Earth flourish. His simple days consisted of watching trucks pass down the streets or seeing the farmers harvest their crops in the fields near his home. A bowl of candy next to the recliner and a box of cookies on the counters made him happy as long as he could finish his day watching Tom and Jerry and napping in the recliner. His love for the outdoors earned him a role on the dream team for wood splitting, hay baling, and other work that helped his family care for the woods and fields. His care and love stretched only to his family, friends, and the growth of the earth. Nothing else mattered for Lynn and his life and mindset has always been admired by those who knew him. As simple as he was, he never seemed to want more or long for things he didn't have. His beauty and love shown through his ability to not get caught up in life's twists and turns. He took such ease in simply enjoying all of the amazing things that God has provided for him. A common phrase that Lynn's family tends to live by is "LLL" or "live like Lynn." Lynn never realized how much he taught his family to let the little things go, to not get anxious when everything isn't turning out perfectly, and most importantly, to spend time with the people, the faith, and the simple blessings that truly matter. Lynn's legacy will never be measured by the things he owned, but by the peace he carried, the kindness he shared, and the reminder that a life well lived is often a simple one. His gentle spirit lives on in every quiet sunrise, every field ready for harvest, every walk through the woods, and every moment spent appreciating life's simplest blessings. Those who knew and loved him will continue to honor his memory by living each day with gratitude, appreciating God's creation, and remembering to "Live Like Lynn."
