Margaret “Marge” M. Abts, 86, of Champion, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Saturday June 27, 2026. She was born on February 3, 1940, to Matt & Marie (Treml) Wachal in Luxemburg, Wisconsin. Marge was a woman of deep faith whose life was rooted in service to others. Throughout her remarkable career, she cherished the friendships she built with her coworkers, who became like family, and found great fulfillment in caring for the countless patients whose lives she touched. Her legacy of kindness, compassion, and unwavering dedication will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Beyond her work and volunteer service, Marge found joy in quilting with the ladies of St. Joseph Parish, tending her garden, preparing meals for those she loved, and playing cards with family and friends.
