Marlene F. Delwiche, 87, Luxemburg, was called to Heaven on Wednesday morning, August 12, 2026, at St. Vincent Hospital, Green Bay, surrounded by her family. She was born on May 19, 1939, in Duvall to the late Gilbert and Ida (Tassoul) Vandertie. On October 24, 1959, Marlene married Milton Delwiche at St. Francis Du Paul Church in Duvall. She was a graduate of Luxemburg High School. She completed a degree in teaching at the Algoma Teacher’s College, teaching at Duvall Grade School. She ended her career working at Green Bay Packaging. Marlene was a member of St. Mary Church, Luxemburg, and a member of the Christian Mother Society of St. Mary Church.
Her enjoyments included spending time with her family; making many blankets, sewing and crocheting for her family and friends; playing cards; and keeping her Belgian Heritage strong.
Survivors include her four children, Chris (Lori) Delwiche, Kelly (Ed) Delwiche, Connie (Jim) Haase, Cory Delwiche; eleven grandchildren, Kyle (Chelsea), Ryan, Andrea, Joel (friend Hailee) and Kevin (friend Nicole) Delwiche, Ashley McMahon, Chelsea (Donny) Brien, Corina (Kevin) Dantoin, Justin (Colleen), and Mitchel (Megan) Delwiche; twelve great grandchildren, Alana, Dawson, Lainey, Gabrielle, Gavin, Griffin, Pryce, Peyton, Paisley, Pierce, Roger, Grace, Willow, Landon, Carter, and McKenna; one great-great grandchild, Easton; two godchildren, Gerald Prevost and Sue Eliason; special friends, Agatha and Don Pigeon, Judy Kerscher, Donna Fabry, and all the friends who joined her in her weekly breakfast’s at Village Kitchen.
Marlene was preceded in death by her husband, Milton Delwiche; her parents, Ida and Gilbert Vandertie; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Henry and Mabel Delwiche.
Friends may call 3:30 to 6:30 pm. at St. Mary Church, Luxemburg, on Monday, August 17, 2026. Closing vigil service at 6:30 pm. with Deacon Bob Miller. Visitation will continue Tuesday, August 18, 2026, between 9:00 and 10:45 am at St. Mary Church, Luxemburg. Funeral 11:00 am Tuesday at the church with Rev. Daniel Schuster officiating. Entombment in the Shrine of The Good Shepherd Mausoleum.
