Paul J. Rank, 51, Luxemburg, quietly passed away surrounded by his family on Sunday evening, August 10, 2025. He was born in Green Bay on February 28, 1974, to Merrill J. and Susan A. (Nell) Rank.
He was a 1992 graduate of Luxemburg-Casco High School. Following graduation, he began employment with Van's Lumber and Custom Builders for 20 plus years. He then began his own business, Rank Construction L.L.C. On May 23, 1998, Paul married Ann Mary Vanderbloemen at St. Joseph-St. John Church in Pilsen. Paul also served on the zoning committee for the Luxemburg Township.
His enjoyments included hunting, playing cards, bowling with his Thursday League at the Rendezvous, and zipping around the yard cutting grass on his zero turn mower. When his children were younger, he enjoyed coaching Sugarbush Little League. Paul was known for his humor, quick wit, storytelling and memory. He often entertained family and friends. He loved his family and friends dearly, and spending time with them was his favorite pastime.
Paul is survived by wife of 27 years, Ann; their three children, Austin, Evan, and McKenna (they are his pride and joy); his parents, Merrill and Susan Rank; his mother-in-law, Adele Vanderbloemen; four siblings, Julie (Jon) Zirble, Dennis (Jennifer) Rank, Sarah (Jon) Romdenne, Karen (Kevin) Tassoul; his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Wanda (Dale) Raisleger, John (Jodi) Vanderbloemen, Mike (Nikki) Vanderbloemen, Jane (Tim) LaCrosse, Joe (Vanessa) Vanderbloemen; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and close friends.
He was preceded in death by father-in-law Leo Vanderbloemen; uncles Mike Nell and Doug Nell; one uncle and one aunt, Merlin and Shirley Vanden Plas; and his maternal and paternal grandparents.
A visitation will take place at the McMahon Funeral Home on Friday, August 15, 2025, from 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm. A closing prayer will follow at 6:00 pm with Deacon Bob Miller. Visitation will continue Saturday, August 16, 2025, from 9:00 am - 10:30 am at St. Mary Catholic Church, Luxemburg. The funeral mass will take place at 11:00 am with Reverand Daniel Schuster officiating. Burial in St. Mary Cemetery.
