Sandra A. “Sandy” (Rank) Bertrand, 84, New Franken, passed away peacefully Wednesday, September10, 2025. Sandy was born July 29, 1941, to Felix H. and Anna A. (Junion) Rank. She met the love of her life Robert “Bob” Bertrand at Luxemburg Bowl, and they married June 13, 1964, at St Kilian Church, New Franken. They celebrated 60 years of marriage prior to Bob’s passing October 1, 2024.
Sandy was a member of Holy Cross Church, Bay Settlement. She worked at EDS Keypunch/Payroll Processor for Kellogg Bank and later Associated Bank for over 25 years. Sandy and Bob enjoyed camping, snowmobiling, playing cards, and spending time with family and friends. Sandy was an avid bowler and was a member of numerous leagues, deciding to hang up her bowling shoes at the young age of 80.
Sandy loved all sports, and her favorite teams were the Green Bay Packers and the Milwaukee Brewers. She also enjoyed NASCAR and cheering on her granddaughters at their basketball and volleyball games.
Sandy is survived by her children Paul (Lori) Bertrand, Amy (Randy) Buhr, and Angela Dhuey; grandchildren Alycia (Alex) Zellner, Dani (Kyle) McFall, Brooke (fiancé Ben Hoida) Bertrand, Josie, Riley, Harper, and Spencer; great grandchildren Ella, Grant, and Baby McFall due in December; one brother Roger (Barb) Rank; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Dick (Karen) Bertrand, Gerald Bertrand, Pat VandenHouten, Carole (Gary) Margotto, and Marion Jauquet.
Sandy was preceded in death by her loving husband Bob; infant son Patrick; her parents Felix and Anna Rank; father-in-law and mother-in-law Robert and Angeline Bertrand; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Donna and Marvin Kinnard, Ray VandenHouten, Arletta Bertrand, and Hub Jauquet.
Friends may call at Holy Cross Church, Bay Settlement, Monday, September 15, 2025, between 9:00 and 10:45 am. Funeral 11:00 am on Monday at the church with Abbot Gary Neville, O.Praem. Officiating. Burial in Holy Cross Cemetery, Bay Settlement.
